It’s really amazing how maturity in manhood will cause a man’s inner spirit to appreciate attributes and qualities in a woman that will be a blessing to his life. For a Bishop, it’s not enough to nd a woman who is physically attractive; he needs a woman who walks in love and kindness, and exhibits the fruits of the Spirit. He needs a woman who can be trusted, and most importantly, one who can pray and get answers. He needs an anointed woman of God.
While it’s true that most men of God will tell you these things, there’s also more to their desires. There are some things he just won’t tell. Below, I list ten things, I believe, most men of God would agree, that a Bishop or a man of God looks for in a woman.
10 A woman who has the WILL to make him KING
It’s human nature to want special attention from the one you love. I think most men would agree, they desire a woman who makes them feel like a King. She may not know how at rst, but if she has the WILL, she is on the right track. In her heart, she should have a desire to not only make him King but maintain his kingship. After all, God has commissioned him to be the Priest, Provider and Protector of his castle.
9 A woman who will not allow ties with girlfriends to be more important than the relationship with her man
One thing that I’ve learned about the wonderful creation of Woman is her ability to commit to and stick with her closest girlfriends. Women are beings who internalize things and gain a great amount of self-esteem from their ability to maintain relationships. This should help men to understand the importance of her friendships.
However, my sisters, you must understand that no man can love like a woman, we love like a man. Our love for you will not be like your mother’s love, nor your girlfriend’s love, but it will be what God has placed in us for you—to cover you, protect you and provide for you. This comes from our submission to God. Make sure that your man knows he is number one in your life behind the Lord Jesus. Don’t put him second to your girlfriends. But brothers, that’s not a gift that she will give willingly at the start. Like her friends, you must earn her trust. You must place God rst in your life, too.
8 A woman who will not be so defensive when he mentions the word “Submission”
I was intrigued at the ministry of Co-Pastor Deborah Morton in the Spring ‘06 issue of FLM. When she discussed submission, it gave me a sense of comfort knowing there are some women of God who have really grasped hold to that power. When submission is mentioned (concerning wives) in the New Covenant, Paul speaks to the need for women to submit to their own husbands. When a woman of God understands that her submission is not a duty, but a ministry of love that is perfectly parallel to the ministry of Christ’s love for the church, then the topic of
receive all of the emotional, Spiritual, nancial, physical and social nurturing needed to develop productive citizens. However, I’ve found through conversations and networking that not all women want to have children and not all men want to be fathers. This one is touchy for some, and may require the intervention of a Pastor or Counselor. In the beginning stages of a relationship, a couple should discuss this honestly, and be prayerful about going forward in the relationship if they don’t agree on the issue of children, but at least they should keep an open mind about it.
6 The ministry of podiatry
Podiatry, according to Webster, is the medical care and treatment of the human foot. That’s right, the ministry of how a woman takes care of her feet is important. Sure, not everyone is not going to have gorgeous feet, however that is no excuse for a woman not to maintain her feet with daily washing, moisturizing and massages. A pedicure is nice, too, in order to remove dead skin, crust and any other forms of skin that keep her feet from being soft and smooth. And let’s not forget about polish and styles that will compliment her personality. It’s not for every woman to wear rhinestones on her toenails or toe rings on every toe. But a woman should wear polish that accents the color of her skin; one that won’t clash with every outt in her closet.
5 Good taste in clothes
This is a huge one. As a Bishop/Pastor, I stand in front of congregations every Sunday and I see it all. There’s nothing more beautiful than a woman who is full-gured and classy, knowing what to wear based on her size, in comparison to a woman who’s a size 6, but who is wearing something that is uncomplimentary to her or offensive to others in the

submission will not be a discussion that erupts like a volcano. When a man has Christ as his head, and is governed by the Laws of God, then her submission to him should be automatic and on cruise control. No woman of God, full of the Holy Spirit, should live in constant rebellion to her husband when his life is totally ruled and governed by God.
7 A woman with an open mind about having or not having children
The family is still the single most important institution for social development on the earth. There is no other corporate organism where children, husbands and wives can
