10 Things a Bishop Wants in a Woman...But Most Men Won't Tell (continued)
by Bishop Oliver T. McCray
Church. Colors, patterns and styles should compliment who you are as a woman. They should give an idea of the type of woman you are. You can be stylish and still saved, but keep in mind that you are a representative of Christ. Choose clothing that presents you as a respectable, classy woman. Oh, by the
way, those are not qualities you can purchase at Neiman’s, Saks or Macy’s, but they are qualities a Bishop looks for, and nds appealing in a woman.

4 Shoes… need I say more?
Wow! AIN’T nothing like a woman who can wear a pump, sling back or open toe heel to perfection. I believe that shoes say a lot about a woman. When a woman tells me she loves shoes, a light comes on because that’s something that some men don’t tell you they like about a woman. The right shoe just might attract, or keep, the right man!

3 A woman who disciplines her children
The Scriptures are clear about children and discipline. As a man raised by a retired school teacher of 37 years, my mother was loving and caring—my biggest fan and cheerleader—but she was also was the one that whipped my behind whenever I got out of hand. I was not raised with my father in the home. However, my mother would have knocked me out, all 6’4” of me, if I would have ever disrespected any adult, teacher, administrator or public ofcial. I’ve done some teaching in public schools, and it’s appalling, the behavior of some of the children. Just because a man is not in the home, children should not be allowed to be disrespectful and void of proper manners which are learned at home.

2 A woman who will honor and appreciate him
Yes, ladies, men like to be complimented too. We love to be bragged on to your girl-friends, talked about to your colleagues, discussed at your luncheons. Appreciation goes a long way. When a woman says to a man, “Baby, thank you for cutting the grass or cooking dinner,” that simple “thank you” does wonders to show you appreciate him. It can cause him to continue to be the faithful man of God you’ve prayed for. And yes, we should do the same and even more in response to your honor. We love to be honored as men of God.

1 A respectable woman in public, but at home...
In public, a man wants a woman he can trust. One who won’t embarrass him with inappropriate behavior—a lady. However, in an intimate setting, when alone as husband and wife, we want the woman others don’t see—a wife who won’t mind taking sensuality to the next level. Men are visual. We fantasize and imagine. We enjoy lingerie, candles, oils and creams. Keep the marriage exciting. The bed, in marriage, is undeled! When it comes to music, play whatever your husband wants to hear. This may not be the right time for Shirley Caesar or Dottie Peeples—no, not for this time. A woman should do all that is within her power to please her King…. and yes, ladies, it denitely should work both ways. <>
