Evangelists
It may get loud in here! In fact, it will get loud in the place where an evangelist is ministering, but don't put on your ear phones! Their commanding voices are appropriate for their purpose--to rally God's troops; to revive the  believer's spirits and get us fired up for the Kingdom of God!

It is well known that evangelists have a strong anointing to win souls. But many people do not know that evangelists have a two-fold ministry...and it stands to reason. Why would the Lord use them only outside the Church? They, along with the other five-fold ministering gifts, are to prepare God's people (believers, saints) for works of service. Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV):

It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

How do evangelists minister to God's people (saints, believers)?
Evangelists teach, preach and exercise spiritual gifts just like others in the Body of Christ; and they are anointed (specially equipped; gifted) to stir up and revive.

That same anointing stirs up unbelievers to choose spiritual life over spiritual death--they repent of sin, accept Jesus as Lord and become born again.

Then that same anointing stirs up believers to choose spiritual growth over spiritual drought--they repent of sin or apathy and allow Jesus to manifest fully within them. This is particularly beneficial to those who lack purpose and joy in their Christian walk. They may be near the point of spiritual death. Then comes the evangelist with an anointing to refresh and revive. The anointing in their powerful voices speaks life to thirsty Christians (or those who are mal-nourished, unfruitful, stagnant, misdirected, wounded or confused).

The evangelist subliminally proclaims that we should LIVE FOR CHRIST and LET CHRIST LIVE IN US! The operative word here, is "Live." Don't die.

Jesus said, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. (John 14:6)

So, in order to LIVE, we must follow Him--The Way; and obey His Word--The Truth. This means we should totally surrender to Him. It means we should die to our own will and our own ways, and trust His plans for our life.

Jesus said: For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.  (John 6:38)

In the end, the evangelist has led both sinners and saints to Christ!

Calling all evangelists! Come out, come out, wherever you are!
Do not defraud the gift of God that is in you by calling yourself pastor, prophet or apostle. If you are an evangelist, say you are an evangelist. Learn of your position and its importance in the Body of Christ. Ask the Lord to help you please Him and to bring forth a harvest with your gift.* Acknowledge the gift of God in you. (*Refer to the Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:14-30)

You will find peace when you are in proper position. You will flow naturally. You will please the Lord because you embrace His choice of gift for you; and you can reproduce with it. Evangelists find growth and great success in prayer. Prayer is like Samson's hair for you. Cut it off (prayer), and your strength will wane. Although everyone should pray without ceasing, this is particularly important to evangelists. Just as obedience is to prophets, humility is to apostles, and study (knowledge) is to pastors and teachers-- prayer is a key element of your anointing, beloved evangelists.

Should all obey? Should all be humble? Should all study and pray? Yes. God forbid that we do not. That's all I will say on that matter.

When understood and accepted, the gift of the evangelist is a tremendous blessing to the local church.
